The Zombie Army Trilogy is a set of survival horror third-person shooters developed and published by Rebellion Developments.
It was originally a spin-off of the Sniper Elite series released as two expansion packs for Sniper Elite V2, called Nazi Zombie Army and Nazi Zombie Army 2. These versions were remastered and bundled with a third game as the Zombie Army Trilogy.
Plot
The trilogy takes place during May to August 1945 in an alternate timeline where, Adolph Hitler orders "Plan Z" rather than accept defeat and surrender.
Plan Z involves using occult rituals to resurrect dead soldiers as zombies, but the occult relic that was intended to protect Hitler fails and zombies overrun Germany and spread across Europe.
A group of resistance fighters called the Survivor Brigade rise up to put an end to the Nazi Zombie Army and save humanity.
Sequel
A sequel, titled Zombie Army 4: Dead War, was released on February 4, 2020.
